This is a rebrand of Birkenstock, one of the oldest shoe craftsman companies in the world. I’ve conducted research and created new material for Birkenstock that I believe aligns more appropriately with the target audience and overall tone.
Sandals and slip-on shoes can be seen in two different lights; casual or fashion savvy. In the case of Birkenstock, we are seeing these two categories come together in harmony to create a sandal/slip-on that is trendy, comfortable, and made of quality materials.
Worn by both men and women alike, Birkenstock possesses a large target audience. With so many different individuals selecting Birkenstock as their ”hybrid” casual and fashion shoe choice, a modern brand should be established that connects with it’s consumers and speaks to what the Birkenstock is truly about. Quality, comfort, and style.
